This league stresses that the boys call the plays.

Emphasis is on everyone playing all positions and having fun.

About the Edina Flag Football (EFF)

EFF is an Edina youth sports association formed to allow boys an opportunity to play football in a non-contact format.

• Flag football is a non-contact sport.
• Velcro flags are worn and pulled off for a "tackle"
• Teams are usually 8-10 players with 5-on-5 play
• EFF has two leagues - Grades 6-8 and Grade 9-11
• Season is 6 weeks long and held on Saturday mornings
• Practices are 1/2 hour before game time
• Flags and short sleeved t-shirts will be provided
• Turf shoes, tennis shoes or rubber cleats are recommended.
• Mouthguards are required
• Cost for the season is $80.00
